Teachers' Modules
[page text for] http://youthforum.askasia.org/members/teachers/
The Youth Forum provides Teachers' Modules that explore cross-cultural perceptions, global environmental action and other issues at the nexus of global economic movement, international security, and cultural growth. The modules can be used in whole or in part. Each module, or lesson plan, includes teaching ideas, background readings, student handouts, and ideas for school-to-school exchanges, as well as links to Available Projects that you can register for.
For ideas on how to incorporate the Teachers' Modules into your classroom, see the Example Scenarios. [LINK]

Available Projects
[page text for] http://youthforum.askasia.org/members/available_projects.pl
The Youth Forum has a variety of Available Projects that schools can register for. There are two types of projects:
Independent Projects are designed for use in your classroom and do not require partnership with another school.
Collaborative Projects include activities that involve working with teachers and students in another school.
Tip: If you are new to cross-cultural and collaborative learning, try an Independent Project first.Projects use different templates, depending on the type of information to be communicated. When you choose a Project, think both about the description of the Project and the template it uses: Forum, Newsletter, or Virtual Gallery.
Getting started is easy. Click on a project to read more about it. If it interests you, fill out the simple application form below the project description. We will send you a confirmation and let you know what to do next.
